A documentary of sorts for NieR: Automata director Yoko Taro (known for wearing a weird unwieldy mask) has emerged, providing plenty of insight into his work and design theories along with some absurd scenes to help maintain viewer interest, a rather expected turn of events considering the man actively wears a bizarre mask.

Yoko Taro’s latest production, the very well received NieR: Automata, can be purchased and experienced now for the PS4 and PC.
Interesting, the guy who tries to make games that are different one moment from the next always ends up with people critizing the overly repetitive side quests in his games…
The side quests in Nier: Automata are really good! Each one has an interesting story and often unique music upon completion and the music is absolutely godly! I hadn’t played any of his games before so didn’t know what to expect but it turned into probably the best jrpg I’ve played in years. I thought the game was just going to ride on 2B’s ass being awesome but nope everything is totally amazing.
When I finished that I tried Drakengard 3 and ….. it’s interesting I guess. The character banter is fun anyway but the graphics, combat and side quests are terrible. Kinda like a PS2 game but released on the PS3 in 2015…
I have the original Nier coming which I’ve heard is a lot better than Drakengard 3 so will see then but yes try Nier: Automata! There’s all this archive data files you can read in game that describes a lot of what happened in the First Nier and afterwards but you don’t need to have played the first one.
That just sounds to me like he’s focusing too much on the main game and slacking on the side stuff.
He just desperately wants attention. His games suck anyway.
You sound like a fucking retard.
“He just desperately wants attention.”
Takes one to know one, it seems.
pfft.. okay, w/e you say big boy
