Hardcore western TCG enthusiasts will soon be able to try their hand at the previously Japanese-only Final Fantasy trading card game, which will likely become a beloved classic amongst the likes of Magic the Gathering and other such nerdy TCGs.
A tutorial video demonstrating how to play was provided:
A multitude of starter packs based around specific Final Fantasy titles (7, 10 and 13) will also be available when the game launches on October 28th.
But…Cocks…
Please remake Final Fantasy VI for console, and PC Square Enix.

Could’ve been triple triad…
I wanted that game. I’m not a huge fan of the original Final Fantasy VIII. Selphie Tilmitt was the best thing about it. Rinoa is kind of boring, I wish the places where switched.
Worst it also had the worst translation of any Final Fantasy game. I think that is why most people don’t enjoy it. Well that and the Junction System.
i rather have ange vierge, wixoss, fantasista doll or a all female card game for my ps vita.
plus i didn’t understand the rules or how the cards works.
Very nice.
I’ll probably mess with it for collecting the FF7 and FF6 cards, beyond that don’t really care much. I don’t play these sorts of games much anymore, but it does look a little less wonky than Magic was for me at first glance.
It is very expensive, and that much money could go towards other things. Digital would be the way to go. Hearthstone is a great alternative, and you don’t constantly need to buy new expensive decks.
