Oricon has unveiled the best selling anime BDs for the week of July 11th, with one popular sports anime barely securing the top spot over a western-made animated film – a rare occurrence that may very well earn the ire of anime enthusiasts.

2. The Good Dinosaur
3. Boruto -Naruto the Movie- (Limited Complete Pressing)
4. Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash Volume 5
5. Girls und Panzer der Film (Limited Special Edition)
6. Boku no Hero Academia Volume 2

9. Finding Nemo
10. Re:Zero Volume 1
2 tanks, 1 GuP.
That movie was fucking awful. Basically all they did was drive around for 90 minutes and derp each other. It was like watching downies play World of Tanks. And yet again, the same stupid ‘zOMG SCHOOL CLOSING’ excuse. And 3 dozen characters who show up, get 2 lines of dialogue and never appear again?
In fact, the whole series is awful because, oh right.. that’s exactly what the TV show was.
KAWAII DESU NE ^___________^ MOE MOE KYUN GIRLS and shitty 3d-animated tank combat.
More GUP, not fucking delta!!! more GUP, not fucking deltaaa!!!
“Anime”
looks at list.
“Anime”
looks at list again.
ok then…
“Anime” in japanese language is not limited to “made in Japan”
When people in the west hear anime, they think of Japanese animation. When people in Japan hear anime, they think of any kind of animation. Look at the list again please. Oh boy! All of them are “Anime”! Whaddya know?
Finding… Nemo?
How the F is Finding Nemo still up there.. just HOW.
Its Animation aka anime
My feelings exactly! Why is The Good Dinosaur and Finding Nemo on this list?! It has nothing to do with Japanese Anime!
How about I don’t know, parents buying the DVDs so their kids could watch before watching Finding Dory in theater?
Is that not obvious?
Guess the story is liked more in Japan than in the US.
Yup.
