Papurika.moe’s soon-to-arrive “Love Language Japanese Year 1 Gentlemen Edition” has cleverly melded language learning with a visual novel, allowing even avid gamers the opportunity to learn something new while doing what they love – and bound to silence those who believe games can’t be educational.
The PV, showing off all the game has to offer:
Love Language Japanese Year 1 Gentlemen Edition is planned for release sometime in early 2016 for PC and Mac, those who wish to support the title can do so on Steam Greenlight.

I'm sure I've seen those CG and characters before.
and I found out they are actually from this vn.

Haha, that darkraiders guy is such an idiot.
Here's the actual answer: Papurika.moe has license to use the art assets from Praline's Anata no Koto o Suki to Iwasete. HOWEVER, they are told to try and not associate themselves with that game because it's an adult game.
It's an image issue, but it causes more problems than good because people will simply ask, "Isn't this Anata no Koto o Suki to Iwasete?" It's part of their licensing with Willplus, not to credit Praline. They're still unclear about it, but it's implied this way.
Oh, and this is realllly recent, so the darkraiders was simply talking out of his ass. People had to jump at the Papurika.moe team to get a proper answer.
Thanks for the reply and answer!
there is no H-code for that game.
Finally. Now I can try to learn Japanese properly.
I only buy it, if it actually teaches you to speak Japanese, well. It's hard to find a good method to know Japanese with great joy. For me, combining games and learning Japanese would be the best.
You should learn english first

Hmm I am just wondering, my post doesn't count towards to the total comment count. Why?
"And a E-Learning"
Yeah. If you don't catch that, learning Jap speak from this shit.
NOW i finally gonna learn japanese. Hows to grind in this thing?
I agree something to motivate me to learn :)
Also......."Hows to grind in this thing?" Learn English first, and then come back to Japanese :P
Ooh, I'd go for this.
...Kickstarter eh...
Seem very interesting.
What I really wanna know is how advanced it will get. Are there more details as of now?
I mean I know basic Japanese and I certainly don't wanna "learn" about Hiragana and very basic stuff for the 10th million time. So that would be only interesting if it'd get a bit more advanced. Does anybody know?
Also nice to meet you, this is my first post here. I have been following this site for quite some time but never felt it was necessary to sign up. I am 21 and from Germany. Well, that's it for my little self-introduction.
Will I get BAD END and then NTR'd if I get a low grade?
No, you just enter the forever alone route somewhere in the middle due to your inability to communicate with the ladies.
great just what we need, rosetta stone with better pictures. being a vn it'll still be equally dull nontheless.
hope this game prevents those famous youtubers from humiliating themselves for reading all japanese words with the glorious English pronunciation. And no, 'Cho' in Chocobo is not the same as 'Cho' in Chocolate(confirmed).
> And no, 'Cho' in Chocobo is not the same as 'Cho' in Chocolate(confirmed).
Seem the same to me. How are they different?
I think he wants to say that Chocobo has pronunciation on the first syllable while chocolate is spoken more like shock-lit. Of course, that's an american problem. In japanese both Cho are the same チョ and spoken as such.
I think what he meant is English speakers usually pronounce them as in "choke" or chocolate whereas, the Japanese is Chi'O. Although they sounds very similar if spoken quickly but is actually different.
If you've spelt it in English why should it have Japanese pronunciation?
Weaboo logic
@20:57
Then why are people poking fun at Japanese pronunciation of English words written in Hiragana?
Self-contradiction much?
