No sooner has Microsoft’s Xbox One been unleashed on the handful of territories worthy of its power than it has been subject to a variety of horrible technical issues, although whether they are any more widespread than those afflicting the PS4 is another matter.
Complaints about a “disc-read error” and a supposed system update failure capable of bricking the console have surfaced – though just how common these are in relation to the number of consoles shipped is completely unknown (and doubtless likely to remain so, given Microsoft’s PR lessons):
I guess… Microsoft just being Microsoft.
Behold, the “Black Screen of Death”!!
“Smashes Hammer on Xbone/PS4”
Oh noes my Launch Console broke down, please help me blame the Companies for their shitty products.
MS will take care of that stuff fast. I got my RRoD taken care of in less than week. Very untraumatic. 😀
I’m a bit worried as I want to get both consoles (PS4 already pre-ordered and getting it 29/11/2013), however like the article says… we don’t know really how wide spread it is.
Also, this is the internet… Foofaraw…
I’m lucky enough to be able to buy PS4, Xbox and I have a great PC… This constant “Mine is bigger/better then yours” is very silly. Like when the supposed “Glorius PC master race” has to jump into a console debate to tell everyone how special they are, as if PC gaming needs to prove itself against consoles?
I did notice they never showed the other side of the disc, could be sratched or something.
