The 12th episode of To Aru Majutsu no Index II finds itself stuck deep in the midst of actual plot for once, although not at the expense of oppai.
Russian loli-nun Sasha hasn’t been seen since the first season of Index, and seems to have changed somewhat…
Luckily, Index has been kept in the same moe outfit for several weeks now.
A good example of how lithe and petite the younger girls are in contrast to most of the remainder of the cast…
This isn’t the first time, but it’s worth pointing out this shopping centre’s walkway intersection is the same that the oddly animated Touma, Index and Mikoto walk through during the ED.
The show reminds the viewership once again that most any subject matter (in this case, nunnery) looks much improved in 2D over its real-world counterpart.
Mikoto and Misuzu’s shopping scene is a fun one, with Kuroko (still appealing bandaged from earlier) taking in the charms of Mikoto’s non-loli equivalent:
Komoe’s meeting with Touma’s parents might bring up the question as to why even non-residents of Academy City so readily accept her as an adult – there wasn’t much material in the novels regarding this, but this may be overanalyzing the matter.
The nearest thing to a Christmas special in this series:
Oriana actually seems to spend something like a third of all her onscreen time with something in her mouth, which certainly isn’t a bad thing to have to look at.
Having Stiyl around Touma is particularly handy for the sake of flashy effects, owing to Touma’s own Imagine Breaker being fairly lackluster in that department – for example, Touma is unable to do this sort of Dragonball-style fireball-block technique:
I loved the part with Kuroko and Misaka’s mother. Wish they’d show more of that.
As for Komoe being recognized as an adult; this is anime. You can’t see the subtle signs of aging on a character designed to look like a five-year-old. Let’s just suspend our disbelief for now.
I liked it when Biribiri’s mom was like so you roll that way I was like lol
bewbies~
needs more Kuroko yuri
