Bandai and US rock band Linkin Park have announced an unusual collaboration in the form of a limited edition HGUC 1/144 RX-78GP01Fb Gundam GP01Fb Full Vernian “Linkin Park Edition.”
The gunpla is bundled with the deluxe edition of Linkin Park’s latest album, “A Thousand Suns.”
One of the songs on the album, “The Catalyst,” is used in Bandai Namco’s arcade gundam fighting game Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs, somewhat explaining the link.
Available in Japan on November 24th, the album will include the gunpla, the colour scheme of which was allegedly designed by the band members themselves, and also special box art portraying the band members in Gundam style.
The song for those interested:
I like Linkin Park…but I find this to be a very bad idea. So many great japanese bands out there…some of them should get a gundam instead.
This song was already used by fagtivision for one of their medal of honor trailers… the rest of the cd is CRAP, even worst than this song.
The emotion angst will be epic.
didn’t their mixer Hahn do something for BRS?
man there sure is a lot of linkin park fags on here, I pretty sure if your taste in anime is anything like your taste in music then you’re one of those 15yr old fags who makes naruto amvs with linkin park music.
