Sega’s weird PS3-based DLC addon for Project Diva, Dreamy Theater, has been priced, dated, and, more interestingly, proper sequel Project Diva 2nd has had its spectacular intro made public:
Player 1
Pre-orders opened some time ago.
Meanwhile, Dreamy Theater has been confirmed as a PlayStation Store only title selling for ¥3,000, releasing on the 24th of June, and in true Sega style requires a PSP and a copy of Project Diva to run, neatly eviscerating its sales potential.
this totally should have been somesort of crossover between dream theater and miku. i mean metropolis pt 2 is basically a play, with miku singing James labrie lyrics
hatsune miku Pt.2: scenes from a memory
they could make the graphics a little better
If I actually had a PS3, I’d buy this just to see the Magician costume. You know, the one you get from Miracle Painting. I love that costume.
Wow, Dreamy Theater is dreamy indeed.
I’m still feeling skeptical of the dreamy quality projected on the PS3 being purely data re-rendering from the PSP, but I’m not one to complain of the new look Miku and co.
damn those are some NICE shaders
