Fans are bewildered and enraged by recently unveiled screenshots for the upcoming Strike Witches Xbox 360 shoot-em-up Strike Witches: Shirogane no Tsubasa – graphics are said to be PSP quality, and all for a top tier $80 price tag.

The reaction:
Looks like a freeware game.
Could easily be a PS2 or even PS game.
The PS3 just can’t do this kind of sophisticated lighting!
Totally looks like a cheap doujin game.
PSP is it? Ah, Wii, right? It’s for… the Xbox 360?
Looks worth 800 points, no more.
Something like this is fine. It’s just a character game after all.
I thought it was for the PSP!
And they want $80 for this doujin quality…
Some are even saying that it is the game which is the extra to the Nendoroid packaged with the limited edition.
Anime spinoff games have a deserved reputation for being little more than cheap cash-ins at the best of times, but this title appears to be plumbing new depths. Of course, that does not mean it will necessarily bomb – the fans in question are noted for buying anything.
and this is all that the 360 is capable of doing
whoa, a shitty anime got a shitty game? surprise surprise.

I feel pity for whoever buys this…They COULD do a better job.
Also don’t compare Touhou to this abomination,a single Touhou game is easily worth more.
“plumbing new depths”
of the bottom of the barrel,…
Still considering that fans will buy just about anything,…
It won’t neccesarily bomb, then again it may not neccesarily mean that it will be played,… considering collectors try to keep their purchases in the case and in the original plastic wrapping.
All things considered, they could of made the girls a little more pleasing to the eye and opened up a few variations for on the ground activities, just for the incentive of actually plugging it into the – uh – console.
My impression – lame,…. fail….
mayby they’ll stop production of the second run and update the code with better graphics and more moe eye candy.
Since the majority of potential playing otaku are grown-ups.
o.o*????
