Sony’s enigmatic PS3 Slim has finally had an official announcement.
The PS3 Slim will hit stores in September, at a respectable pricepoint of $299, €299 or ¥29,980, Sony said at German event Gamescon.
The PS3 Slim itself is said to be a third lighter than the original, draw a third less power, and will come with a 120GB HDD. Other features will be the same as the soon to be PS3 Cheap.
Official pictures are still lacking, but this probably means the previously revealed designs are close to the mark.

No. But there is a SLIM possibility that they’ll add that in the future if that patent Sony filed is ever to become a reality… Which of course, I hope it will.
I am sure a lot of kids are going to want it for Christmas.
