Given the ferocious antipathy we have seen directed against the Hollywood movie “adaptation” of beloved classic Dragonball, the sight of the game adaptation of the movie, “Dragonball: Evolution”, is sure to send fans in paroxysms of rage and despair.
Below we compare the two conceptions of the franchise, in 2D and 3D:
Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai, from 2006, available now (sequel):
Dragonball: Evolution, due April:
“Dragon Ball has been a cultural icon for over the past twenty years and we’re excited to be releasing our take on such a beloved title. Dragon Ball: Evolution squeezes every intense fight and special move into the hands of fighting game fans.”
