Monolith Soft, the developer of the Xenoblade games, appears to be working on a new action game after the company’s staff recruitment page was updated for the first time in five years.
The recruitment for a new project, described as an action game, first appeared in 2017. The company was recruiting designers, character modelers, map modelers, in-game animators, technical artists, main character designers, and concept designers.
Monolith Soft was last seen urgently recruiting staff with experience in developing action games back in May 2018, but since then, there hasn’t been any word on the game, as the company has been busy working on Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
The recruitment URL previously “monolithsoft.co.jp/recruit/special/” is now “monolithsoft.co.jp/recruit/production/action.html,” so fans have been speculating that the new project has entered the production stage.

Are you crazy?? Xenoblade 2 got localized the hell out of. Over half of the names were changed (and some for no justifiable reason at all other than the localizers preferences, eg they changed Arcadia to Indol). They also removed all of the references to Moe in Hana’s (Poppi’s) various skits, change a swimsuit skit into one about a “bunny suit”, and so many other things. I hope they never ever ever let Nintendo Europe localize another game ever gain. Not to say Nintendo America is much better, but they at least did better than Europe on more faithfully translating the first Xenoblade.
I want a Xenoblade Chronicles X Remaster/Remake or a sequel damn it!! I need my giant mecha action rpg fix Nintendo/Monolithsoft.
