Mine already exploded, it lasted 6 years tough, in that time i had 3, count them 3! xboxes, and i KNOW that im not alone in this, so even whit rampaging rrods on the xbox side, PS3 managed to beat them in sales, good for them, (i had one of the original 600 dollars 80 gig PS3s with full backwars compatibility and the cool card reader on the front, it YLOD a couple of months ago… so sad, the slim ones are so tiny and ugly in comparison)

Wow, people who spend upwards of a 1000 dollars on a PC gaming machine cant afford a 150 dollars wii?, heck just buy it with the game beat it fast then return it for store credit (and get more PC games with it) at least in the US and most first world coutries you can do that

It is only a matter of politics. Here in Brazil we pay a minimum of 87% tax on any electronics imports. M$ is the only one with the $$$ to afford producing it here, since they have big $$$ to spend. A retail, barebones PS3 costs now 20-jan-2013 about US$ 685. http://www.americanas.com.br/produto/111954114/console-oficial-playstation-3-slim-250-gb-sony For this insane price tag you can buy two x360 barebones or one premium with 04 games and 03 months gold membership, since four games cost the …

Brazil is the only country of South America that XBOX 360 is the leader. They have a strong support for the console and have a fantastic install base. Other countries even with the pirated 360 are not Xbox dominated. You got your numbers bad about Chile, sum up Zmart and the rest of the retailers and PS3 is largely above any other. Bluray is a big reason but anyways. Also in Argentina the rate of PS3 againt Xbox is almost 8 to 1 in favor of PS3. Countries like Paraguay and Peru have more PS3 …

The issue is our culture in the US. We bitch about outsourcing yet allow companies to do this to protect their extreme profits. Trickle-down works on paper, but it was never enforced; it was all volunteer. No one volunteered. And you’re asking greedy companies to pay well… good luck with that in American Capitalism (which has spread like a disease). Next is the cost of bills etc. I never understood why our electricity bill is so high and why in my area no company has invested in solar. Pass …

Granted, our social safety net is pretty thin. This reminds me of how my stepdad wants me to get a job in Southern California with little work experience during my summer break. I refuse to flip burgers and be treated like shit.

Many companies can afford demands most other western countries have written into law, it just cuts into their profits too much for them to like.

More like unions are killing job opportunities here in the US. My dad actually once worked in a factory, and when the union came in, it killed it. People who own factories here in the US can’t afford the ridiculous high labor costs unions force them to pay their work force. You can only make so much money from a product afteral. So guess what? They move those factories overseas where labor is cheaper.

Emotionally healthy people shouldn’t give a fuck about perceived moral implications of joblessness. People who use NEET as a curse-word have far greater issues in their personal lives than the social status of strangers.
