  Umm… I do believe xbox sells well in the US but ps3 is leading console sales in europe. And in the end PS3 outsold Xbox once it became cheaper. It doesn’t mean much but in any case you were wrong. So please do your research first.

  True, EA and Ubisoft love to shit on their customers with crappy DRM and online “features”. Other than them, usually one-time online activation on first run, plus one for every other PC (say, you have tower PC at home and laptop at campus). Or no DRM at all.
