Scandal seiyuu Aya Hirano has celebrated her 24th birthday with a live performance, vowing that she will continue her seiyuu career, such as it is.
Playing live for the first time in 10 months in front of a huge crowd of 300, she had this to say:
It’s my 24th birthday, and I’m delighted to be able launch my new fanclub at the same time. The venue may not be very large, but people can watch online from all over.
Next year I’ll release a new CD, and I’m happy to be able tell all my fans that I’m still continuing on as a seiyuu.
Given that her seiyuu career is now looking rather bleak, there is some scepticism about all this:
“Oh, really.”
“As an AV seiyuu, perhaps?”
“She’ll continue – if she gets any work.”
“She’s practically been making fun of other seiyuu, and now she’s a seiyuu again? Seiyuu otaku don’t care about this bitch.”
“Oh come on. She can’t continue on as an idol. This is painful to watch.”
“She doesn’t even have any roles worth speaking of any more.”
“She’s been recruiting fan club members in Korea? When they get wind of those pictures I can’t see anyone becoming her fan…”
“She’s been trying to use her remaining fans in Taiwan and Korea… I wonder if they’ve seen those pictures of her having sex with her band yet?”
“300 people – they must have selected them very carefully.”
“The venue’s capacity is only 250 – were the extra 50 people her staff or something?”
“All these recent seiyuu scandals were triggered by her.”
“Being a seiyuu is fine. So is being an actress or porn star for that matter.”
“In the old days seiyuu would hardly even show their faces. Seems it was a good idea.”
“It’s too late for her.”
“I rather doubt any third Haruhi season will feature her…”
“There’s no demand for her and nobody is going to risk their anime on a live bomb like her.”
“This whole thing is an attack on her!”
“It seems more like she just finally self-destructed on her own to me…”
i stiil love you Aya Hirano
uhh. Its so hard to find a nice Asian girl here in the U.S.
I think the industry should try to keep as many talented VA’s as they can. f♥♥k them seiyuu otaku. They ain’t s♥♥t.
if she wants to continue with her career, then why not? since when do you fucking useless no-life stalker moron otaku shitheads get to decide what a famous chic can or cant do with her personal life? get a grip idiots, she doesnt give a flying f♥♥k what you dimwits think, so if that is so devastating to you, then you need to go do something useful–like kill yourselves.
She have done so much work as seiyuu, well I’m glad she still have the strong will to continue as seiyuu, won’t give hope she will come back.
When the rumors goes and send out these fake pictures of her, who actually do that ?
I still believe in her.
If there is internet you can always use hacking.
Aya Hirano is not a person that easily quit something becuase of media and rumors.
When the rumors goes it will hard to get back good reputation, if you don’t believe in her how can you be her fan.
