It really depends on what kind of standard you put on them. If you’re talking about graphic, then certainly, Macross F is the winner here.

But it comes to music. It might be hard for someone like me who love Fukuyama Yoshiki’s music to choose between.

I’m willing to listen your comment about both works and why do you prefer Macross F if you can put them into words. Thank you.

Burst Angel? Are you serious? That series was so bad and repetitive it was not funny.

And where is Baccano! on this list? When was the last time anyone saw a show that was effectively a series of vignettes starring 1920′s New York mobsters, immortals (some of whom are also mobsters), homunculi and a Badass Normal gymnast who could kill anyone ever? Never before. No Japanese period piece has ever been this ‘fresh’ from a content standpoint and no juxtaposition by a Japanese author has been as ‘new’.

uhh, Angel Beats is an original anime. The light novel (track zero) doesn’t have the plot of the anime. It only shows what happened before the plot of the anime.

yaoi= gay romance between two males shota= gay romance with underage boys this episode= kyoani showing fangirls that this character is prime husbando material because look how good he is with kids, and he is a calm and sensible swimming teacher. Note how nothing in ‘this episode’ has anything to do with yaoi or shota. Kyoani know exactly what they’re doing, its the same thing they do with their female characters. They want to market them to their audience as waifus. They’re doing the same with …

How exactly did they make things worse for themselves? Free! has sold far better than any other of their recent shows. Not as well as K-ON, but its definitely a contender. You guys (or at least, those that like KyoAni’s moe shows) should be glad about Free even if you don’t like it – its going to be funding their moeblob shows for years to come. They’ve got Amagi Brilliant Park next season which looks more like their usual stuff, too. It was Tamako Market that was probably their biggest flop. I …
