  check the list up there Cagliostro is a classic in japan an a classic, not for lupin, is for the movie itself. Thats why still appears on almost every “best anime film” poll/list, even 30 years after. Of course not at the same level of innovation of Kane or Potemkin, but the: “It looks like it was made in the ’60s. It’s entertaining, but it’s so retro!   same here, I think perfect blue is better constructed than paprika (characters, script, etc) and I like it a lot more. still remember of that bathtub scene on perfect blue… and how “requiem for a dream” stole it.

  Macross plus is also my favorite. indeed is odd, cause DRYL was a big event in 80´s. but the story flows oddly, which is obvious as a re-make/compilation of the whole series.
