Microsoft has announced that it will be releasing an anime based on the Halo franchise, employing some of the top names in the anime industry.
The five companies involved in the actual production are Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio 4°C, and Toei Animation. The director will be Shinji Aramaki, of Appleseed fame.
The anime will be released on DVD and online (doubtless through Xbox Live) in early 2010.
It is not clear precisely what kind of visual style the production will adopt, but given the subject matter, and involvement of Aramaki, 3D CG seems a likely and appropriate choice…

But in order to make this point, one need not deny that language is for communication, or claim that it could just as easily be thought of as being for inner speech. ,
that first line “Microsoft has announced that it will be releasing an anime” sounded weird.
i wonder what the budget is.
i don’t think microsoft intends to make money off of this. i don’t think it’s to help halo and xbox sales since they don’t need to worry about that.
it’s like they are just doing this “for fun”.
if that is the case, they probably also told them go nuts and “don’t worry about money”.
oi halo is a nice game!i prefer halo than the CS
This is so good, I never even thought it would happen so unexpected but f♥♥k yeah f♥♥k YEAH I will come when it comes out.
They need to get John’s voice right though if they f♥♥k that up it will suck.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this 30% of the people who will watch this may receive a BSOD.
