A lady who attempted to order Chicken McNuggets at her local McDonald’s was shocked to discover they had run out, and felt she had no recourse but to summon police to the scene; with police already on the way assist her with this pressing crisis, she made three 911 calls, pleading for aid.
The dire straits she was in were summed up in her desperate 911 call, prompted by her failed attempt to order 10 McNuggets:
“This is an emergency, if I would have known they didn’t have McNuggets, I wouldn’t have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don’t want one. This is an emergency.”
She apparently attempted to secure a refund, but the implacable corporate giant stood by its policy that “All sales are final”, leaving her no recourse but to summon the law.
The lady felt she could not accept the offer of an even larger portion of food in exchange for the payment, and the cashier reported that her stressful ordeal caused her to become irate, yelling “I don’t want a McDouble and small fry!”
She explained her difficult predicament later: “I called 911 because I couldn’t get a refund, and I wanted my McNuggets.”
During the emergency she summoned police on no less than three occasions, and was informed that an officer was coming to assist each time.
The lady was later ticketed by police for abusing the 911 service. The report on the incident stated “Goodman maintained the attitude ‘this is an emergency, my McNuggets are an emergency.'”

Although clearly the prospect of running out of McNuggets may be uniquely pressing to some Americans, idiosyncratic “emergencies” reported to police and similar are a universal phenomenon; the Japanese equivalent is concern over one’s ice cream melting necessitating police intervention…
what a waste of the police’s time.
OMFG i mean she deserved after all that not an emergency but i think its more the McDonald’s fault i mean where’s the “the client is always right”? she gave the money for McNuggets so either they should give what she asked or refund in case she wouldnt want the alternative menu. omfg wheres the world going to *creating idiots since…the beggining of time!?* i mean im seeing so many s♥♥t(stupid ppl doing stupid things) news in here, can’t help wondering if this ppl even have a brain. i mean if it was a person with mental issues it would b acceptable but we r talking about normal ppl, what happened? did they hitted with their head too hard on something? the give a whole new meaning to the word FAIL
Psh. I would have called the Coast Guard if I didn’t get my nuggets.
I’m not sure what to think of the nutjob….I mean distressed chicken nugget enthusiast, though I must admit I’m having a hard time keeping the laughter in.
I can’t believe this story made it to this site, this s♥♥t happen at the Micky D’s not even 20 minutes away from my house. The real question lies in if they were out of the nuggets, why did they even agree to the sales transaction as opposed to just telling her they were out before said sale had occured?
