Teacher Busted for Soapland Side Job, Feminist Outrage Ensues

Teacher Busted for Soapland Side Job, Feminist Outrage Ensues

A female elementary school teacher in Tokyo was busted for working at multiple sex shops, including Soaplands, and was subject to disciplinary action deemed unfair by outraged feminists.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education, a 41-year-old teacher from the Tame area provided sexual services to unspecified male customers at Soaplands and other sex shops during a six-month period from April to November 2020.

The teacher worked at a sex shop in the Kanto region about twice a week after school hours and on holidays, but there were no particular problems with her work as an elementary school teacher.

However, her side hustle was discovered after the school received an anonymous report stating that a female teacher was working at a Soapland. The Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education suspended the teacher for six months for unreported work on the side.

The teacher said she was “remorseful,” and explained that she was the victim of virtual currency investment fraud and needed to take up a side job at an adult entertainment shop to support her family. The board stated that teachers are not allowed to work part-time at Soapland or other sex shops, saying, “It is acceptable if it contributes to improving the quality of education and does not affect one’s work.”

However, a known feminist, Katsube Genki, responded in outrage:

Teacher Busted for Soapland Side Job, Feminist Outrage Ensues

“A 41-year-old female elementary school teacher reprimanded for her ‘side job’ at Soapland to ‘provide for her family’…

It’s s really strange that only women are punished like this. All men who purchased sex should be made to resign.”
