Japanese Food Container Lid Licker Continues in Soy Sauce Licker's Footsteps

A new licking incident has occurred in Japan, despite the news about the 3-year prison time sentence given to the soy sauce licker at one of the famous conveyor belt sushi chains.

This time, in early January, a boy was filmed licking the lid of a water pitcher at some ramen shop, which went viral on Twitter as expected. Internet sleuths did their thing and discovered that the store was part of the nationwide Ramen Yamaoka-ke ramen chain, but later on, they also found the boy’s Twitter and Instagram accounts and that the boy was enrolled at a makeup school in Hokkaido.

The school attempted to hide the boy’s photo, only to be criticized on social media for the decision. The school countered by saying that they did not wish to give private information to their students.

However, it turns out that after news moved on from the incident, the school promptly expelled the student for their behavior, saying that his behavior was beyond the limit of what their instructors could correct. As for the takedown of the photo, the school revealed that it was only ever to protect the other students next to the perpetrator.
