Japan’s third day of 2024, unfortunately, followed the direction of the previous two days, with a raging fire in Kita-Kyushu and a woman stabbing a victim in a train that had just stopped at Akihabara Station’s Yamanote Line platform.
The Akihabara Station stabbing took place at 11 p.m. on the 3rd, with a woman in her 20s swinging around a chopping knife inside one of the train cars. It seems that the woman might have been aiming for men exclusively, as four men were injured in the attack, with people calling the police in the process.
According to one of the men involved, he had just sat down when he felt a shock to his chest, and the knife dropped to the floor, with the young woman standing next to him silently.
Meanwhile, the Kyushu fire started around 3 p.m. on the 3rd from a restaurant street near the JR Ogura station and grew in size due to the cluster of wooden buildings populating the area, making it harder to put out the fire. After 17 hours of tough firefighting, the fire finally completely subsided at 8 a.m. on the 4th.
They need a male-only car to keep Japanese men safe from crazed women.
Or it was attempted gang molestation. That’s up to the police to find out.
Riiiiight. A woman would be wielding a big, hard-to-hide chopping knife around for self defense.
Will we see real Godzilla in Japan soon? Year of the Dragon = Godzilla coming, right? Right?
The Dragon must have picked Japan as it’s place of stress relief.
4 days of chaos in japan, my neighbor chose a bad time to have a booked holiday in japan in a couple weeks.
Besides the earthquake and its related incidents that are natural disaster, the rest so-called chaos is nothing more than a social disorder that you find occurring hundreds if not thousand times around the Earth every single day, it’s hilarious how some people make this as a news to generate clicks lol.
Japan centraily has some lucky start this year…
