A 63-year-old civil engineer was arrested by the Shimane Prefectural Police’s Izumo Police Station on December 23 for allegedly headbutting a police officer who was questioning him.
Shortly after midnight on December 23, a man from Shimane was being questioned by a 27-year-old male police sergeant when he suddenly attacked, saying, “You headbutted me, right?” and then went on to headbutt the officer.
The police officer was at the scene after receiving a 110 call about an injury and was questioning the man as a suspect. At the time, the man was under the influence of alcohol and denied the charges, saying, “I had no idea the person I headbutted was a police officer.”
While the sergeant was not injured, the police are investigating the man, including his involvement in the initial injury call.
So this is so minor that it was not even worth making it into news
The man was drunk.
I’d seen this before as a parking lot attendant.
One night, 2 men were leaving a bar & 1 of them was drunk & constantly trying to headbutt his sober friend who was trying to get him into the car.
Their conversation:
Drunk guy: “Gimme a headbutt!”
Sober guy: “Come on, get in the car!”
Drunk guy: “I wanna headbutt!”
Sober guy: “OK, OK! Just get in the car!”
So… A police officer SERGEANT had to call 110 cause an eldery man headbutted him?… Isnt the dude a police himself?. And injury? I say that the eldery man suffered more pain than the police dude who is 27.
