Company Exec Arrested for Illegally Dumping 50kg of Urine Bottles

A company executive was arrested for illegally dumping approximately 50kg of bottles containing urine on the premises of an apartment building in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department,  49-year-old Mitsuhiro Suzuki, a company executive, illegally disposed of 37 plastic bottles containing his own urine, weighing about 46.9kg, in the shared space of an apartment building in Shinagawa in August and September of this year.

“I thought it was tea at first,” said the cleaning staff who discovered the urine bottles. “It was definitely a strange smell, so I called the police. There were about 15 two-liter bottles there.”

Suzuki had been discarding plastic bottles in park bushes for several years, but since August, he had been carrying plastic bottles in his backpack and disposing of them at his apartment.

“I found it troublesome to go to the bathroom at night, so I used plastic bottles to relieve myself,” said Suzuki when questioned. “When I flushed down my toilet, it gave off a bad smell, so I threw it away outside.”
