The YouTuber rode a bus without paying the fare, which, unlike in the US, is a severe crime in Japan. He then got on a Shinkansen, hid in the restroom, and pretended to be sick when caught. He also bothered others by asking them to pay and hid inside hotels for free stays and  breakfasts during his “challenge.”

Japanese Internet denizens commented on the gaijin YouTuber’s exploits:

“The number of stupid gaijin like these has been increasing recently. They’re also a nuisance to the proper gaijin out there.”

“Let’s beat this guy up and deport him! He’s literally uploading his crimes. Do something about it, cops. He’s no different from Ismael.”

“These annoying idiots committing crimes should be treated as terrorists.”

“The police should hurry up and arrest him.”

“I wish they’d deport these idiot gaijin YouTubers and bar them from entering.”

“People normally get arrested for that, right? It shouldn’t be weird to arrest him upon re-entry.”

“Aren’t these criminal YouTubers breaking some kind of rules? I don’t want them here.”
