A former professional boxer who goes by Masao Adlib recently expressed dissatisfaction with his daughter’s elementary school rules for denying her bleached hair.
Masao Adlib appeared in a martial arts event, “Breaking Down,” where he talked about the issue surrounding his daughter, whom he mentioned in an interview in November 2022.
According to the former boxer, his daughter’s school prohibits hair dyeing, but it said nothing about bleaching, but he was told that it was “also subject to guidance.”
When Masao asked the school if hair extensions were fine, he was told, “Please don’t argue the matter, sir.”
“Neither the teachers nor the board of education are willing to talk about it,” said Masao Adlib. “I think I should talk to the police. Aren’t those unreasonably strict rules?”
Only in Japan will people defend ultra draconian rules that everyone must look exactly the same in real life, but in anime they have lots of different hair color and styles.
The girl wants blond hair, I fail to see how that is going to effect the school.
It’s why almost no Japanese live action ever has dyed hairs, ironically it looks too strange for them.
It’s the same point as uniforms, to make sure you see yourself as equal to your peers. Or, seen in a different way, to make sure you become a homogenized civilian who follows authority.
Free thinkers cause revolutions and we can’t have that now can we
I wouldn’t exactly call somebody going to the police, because he can’t get things his way a “free thinker”.
Was talking about the girl wanting to be different from everyone else but whatever.
At the age of maximum 12, the decision to dye her hair is still with the parents in my book. What the father should’ve done as a responsible adult is say “No”.
Just break the rules, if they send your kid home time to homeschool.
Japan banned homeschooling. The state literally has the monopoly on telling your children what is good for them.
Then what are they going to do when someone has blonde hair against the school’s rules? Not send them home? Then who cares if the rules are broken or not?
The rules have to be simply obeyed, not understood or interpreted, this is how Japan’s educational system works
He knew the rules and tried to be cheeky. Same with school uniforms – if you don’t like them, pick a different school. Also why would you bleach your daughter’s hair while she’s in elementary school?
100% this.
This boxer fruitloop sounds like a closeted faggot.
