A group of hard-working criminals specializing in fraud was arrested after working daily 12-hour shifts of crime that involved non-stop phone calls and no bathroom breaks while driving on the highway.

28-year-old Masato Omote, a gangster affiliated with the Sumiyoshi-kai, was arrested by the Metropolitan Police on suspicion of making a false phone call to a woman in her 70s  living in Saga Prefecture in an attempt to defraud her out of money.

The suspect reportedly lived in a tower apartment in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, and was said to be living a “flashy lifestyle” as the head of a special fraud group. Masaki Ota (29 years old) and Toranosuke Nakagawa (26 years old), who are believed to be senior members of the group, were also arrested.
