Idol Producer Arrested for Allegedly Engaging in Over 200 Obscene Acts With an Idol

Things didn’t go quite like the doujins for one idol producer the Metropolitan Police Department arrested for allegedly engaging in over 200 obscene acts with a member of an idol group who was a minor at the time.

According to the police report, 37-year-old Yuji Hoshino, a producer at an unnamed talent management agency, had engaged in obscene acts with an 18-year-old member of a group he was in charge of, knowing that she was under the age of 18 at the time, on two occasions, once on February 10th, 2019, and again in May 2022.

Around three years ago, the victim, a third-year middle school student at the time, was living alone in an apartment the producer had arranged. She told the investigators that she was afraid of losing her position in the group or her housing if she didn’t do as she was told.

The woman said she had been subjected to obscene acts from the producer about 200 times over the past four years until October 2022. The producer refused to comment any further on the investigation until speaking to a lawyer.
