Beloved RPG Chrono Cross has taken part in a collaboration with smartphone game Another Eden, presenting players with a splendidly animated recreation (full of sideboob) of the RPG’s opening sequence that has some convinced that a remake or remaster for the title is on the way.
The collab crossover event is called “Complex Dream” and smartphone game Another Eden is written by Masato Kato, the same individual who penned Chrono Cross – similarly, Another Eden’s music is also handled by Chrono Cross composer Yasunori Mitsuda.

This is said to be the first instance Another Eden has been given a 3D opening, which was developed by Studio Anima.

Due to the beautifully animated opening, the fact that the original writer and composer is involved, and the fact the Chrono Cross characters will be voiced for the first time has many suspecting that a remake or remaster for Chrono Cross might be in development.

Honestly Another Eden is one of the very few phone games out there where you can see effort put into the story.
