Helltaker, the hit free-to-play puzzle game about a determined man acquiring a harem of classy demon girls from Hell, continues to gain traction in many artist communities as creators are producing even more lascivious art of all the characters.
The ever-expanding art gallery featuring the demonic maidens in varying states of undress and erotic scenarios:
Another shitty indie game that people are over obsessing about…
the game is free, the game has cool character designs, the game is fun, the music is pretty good, but you still complain
It’s none of those things. The game is utter s♥♥t. It’s only worth for all the naked ladies we are getting. Shut up and fap to it.
The puzzles served its purpose exceedingly well: irritating players by killing them 1-step before the goal, giving people the option to skip the level while knowing that people will feel inadequate doing so, and the last level strategically damaging the player if they panic. Plus, the characters and the overworld sprites are kinda cute.
Don’t think that the game is s♥♥t just because you suck at it, anon.
Must of failed at one of the easy puzzles
How can a shitty game with shitty graphics spawn such fuckfest?
Really? After Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, even fucking Animal Crossing… THIS is what you don’t get?
Add Undertale to the list. Like it all you want for the story, but it’s on the lower end of graphics, intentionally or not.
Because graphics are obviously everything. /s
I kiiiinda see his point I guess? Stardew Valley is entertaining, Animal Crossing has its furfag bait. f♥♥k, even Pokemon was good back then with shitty art. Helltaker is just awful in terms on gameplay.
Pokephilia is fairly recent, that doesn’t count. The related ones in terms of pornification(yes, that’s a word) are those of the animated series’ protagonists. No one who played 1st gen Pokemon and thought “but can I f♥♥k this Pikachu?” No, that didn’t happen.
It’s absurd not to expect porn out of this thing when Bowsette and Sailormoon fix challenge exist. There’s only one prerequisite to rule 34 and that’s the requirement of one person wanting to see something pornified(that’s a word too).
I actually feel the opposite. The gameplay is designed as intended. The puzzles are difficult because it exploits the player’s sense of progress because they always end up one short of completing a level, thus doing the same thing over and over again. Even the action level uses the player’s tendency to panic to damage them using a well-placed chain.
The only real complaint that I have is that the characters served no real purpose to the gameplay, the character dialogue was hidden as a hint (that people didn’t use because of obvious reasons), and the shortness of the game didn’t really help the character development. Hell, the creator should’ve had 5 levels before introducing a new character and had some more dialogue between them.
Overall, the intent on this game is mostly for the brand marketing of the artist and the musician, so I can’t really judge them too hard (especially since it seems like the production started right after that whatever hotel animation series aired).
