The Imai Shoten Group Center book store in Matsue city in Shimane prefecture is hosting an exhibition of 70 pieces of original art by Kyoto Animation which survived the deadly arson attack on the studio on the 18th of July this year.
The exhibition is located in the STUDIO WONDER part of the store, with five original pieces of art (from series such as Free! and Sound! Euphonium) being on display attached with messages from Kyoto Animation directors. The Asahi Shimbun explains that a lot of the artwork was supposed to have been sent prior to the arson attack, but the materials were sent and delivered afterward.
The surviving original content was housed in a separate location to the site of the arson attack and thus managed to avoid any damage – entry into the exhibition will be completely free of charge until August 31st.
The store has also set up a donation box inside the exhibition venue for those wishing to aid Kyoto Animation’s recovery efforts.
I’d love to see more Hyouka & Amagi Brilliant Park. But the chances of that happening are about as likely as finding someone who isn’t a beta male cuck on ResetEra.

Like it or hate it Free! is one of their top selling franchises among female viewers so of course they will keep producing it. They’re a business in it to make money. That and they need the big sales as they had workers on ACTUAL properly paid contracts and not those shitty low paid short term ones other anime studios give to workers.
Most of their money don’t come from fujoshit anime. The reason why they produce fujoshit anime is because their female workers hate drawing anime girls and prefer drawing gayshit. Male viewers give more money than female viewers anyway.
Take a look at the Free Blu Ray & DVD disc sales for each season. They’re hit shows. Studios only stop producing “hits” when they’re no longer profitable.
The female otaku market is also fairly lucrative if you can get the right show to tap into that demo. Which is why you see a lot of gay s♥♥t produced each season by studios.
In the end of the season 3, there is an announce saying “Next season in 2020”. I wonder if they cancelled it.
It’ll only be canceled if the studio never recover from the fire. I’d imagine as soon as they’re back up and running Free! will be among the projects getting further seasons.
