Thigh idol Chun-Li has become the latest celebrity to have her own line of casual footwear, with free Street Fighter V DLC being available with every pair.
Capcom and footwear company Onitsuka Tiger have unveiled limited edition Chun-Li themed sneakers, which can be purchased for the obscene price of ¥18,000 (around $160). The modified Mexico 66D shoes come in white and yellow varieties and are based on her classic Street Fighter Alpha outfits:
Observant viewers will notice Chinese dragons imprinted on the sneakers.
Those who purchase the shoes will also received free Street Fighter V DLC in the form of two costumes for Chun-Li to wear:
Only 5,000 pairs of the sneakers are planned to be made and the shoes will go on sale in Onitsuka Tiger shops starting on the 27th of July.
DLC, patches, and updates shouldn’t exist. Games should be released complete and playable without a patch and be sold physical only.
Nah, updates and patches are fine. I’d rather not go back to the days when a game was fucked up and the only option was to waste money on another copy.
DLC yeah, f♥♥k DLC.
The ability to patch games encourages games to be released fucked up. Stop falling for (((Gabe)))’s brainwashing.
Agreed. Patches were fine when physical releases were dominant and patches were freely available for download.
Developers can be greedy and lazy now that additional content costs nothing to push and games are auto-update or nothing.
Updates are certainly used as a crutch, much to the detriment of many games, but many others have just been improved by them. Super Mario Maker was a complete game on release, but updates just added more s♥♥t to it.
Here here. The internet was a mistake.
“Each shoe sold separate”
Those look like regular-ass Asics you can get at a sporting goods store for $40. If you’re going to charge $160 for a pair of shoes, they better at least look cool.
Why the ugly snickers? I want Chun-Li’s used jumpsuit instead!!!
SFV is a fucking joke.
