The annual Halloween costume street party in Tokyo (most notably, Shibuya) has commenced once again, causing all sorts of ghastly denizens to slink out from darkened street corners to celebrate the horrifying holiday, though many outfits of the non-spooky variety were also naturally present.
Videos of the event and all its creative costumes:
However, some may find the event’s aftermath to have been much more terrifying:
This was so much fun! And I’m in one of the videos…cool.
I wish there were more trash bins for the Shibuya event, but it’s not an “event” so much as people generally agreeing to show up there.
Well looks like Clean Japan has exceptions where it gets to clean China level lol.
Barbarians!
For a second there, after seeing all the trash and mess i tought it was china and Chinese people involved.
lol, exactly my thought. i guess japanese people aren’t always the model citizens we assumed they were.
I don’t know If you guys know this, but Shibuya is pretty much the *Ghetto*/Slums of Tokyo, seeing that much of a mess is no surprise, It fits and goes right along with the Graffiti everywhere and sketchy looking people that hang outside the Conbinis at like 3am (usually dudes waiting on a prostitute to show before they’re off to a Love Hotel) …….but all thats none of my business…
