Gameplay footage has surfaced for the already harshly criticized Metal Gear Survive, a title that many believe to be Konami’s late attempt to cash in on the “zombie craze” – the surplus of (what has been presumed to be) reused assets from Metal Gear Solid 5 however are not exactly impressing fans either…

Seems zombies are very popular this year. Dying Light, Daylights end, Walking Dead, Stains, Train to Busan.
“This year”? The gaming industry has been overrun by a mindless horde of zombie games for the past years! It’s almost as bad as minecraft clones!

Yeah, zombies have been “very popular” since around the time Left4Dead was released. There have been tons of cooperative multiplayer zombie games released every year since then.
Open-world co-op zombie games like this were popularized by DayZ several years back. Metal Gear is a little late to the party, and nothing here looks all that innovative. It just looks like a DayZ-style mod for MGSV.
Looks better than most multiplayer zombie games. Still wanna know what the overall goal of this game is.
