The mind battles of Mob Psycho 100 have steadily risen in frequency as the determined Mob attempts to rescue his beloved brother, with Mob’s extraordinary strength definitely resembling that of a certain franchise’s protagonist that was also created by illustrious writer, One.
Omake:
This by far, has to be the silliest anime I’ve seen. Please tell me, what’s the difference between this and say One Piece, both are over the top, but I am sure the characters and story are much different. It’s like they gave a kid the chance to make his own story and payed for the production values, you know how they make stuff like gokuverine.

The silliness is one of points of the anime and manga. But it is actually quite deep if you read the manga and subverts some of the tropes prevalent with this kind of show such as the evil organization isn’t as evil as they seem.
Both this and One Piece are pretty great so I dunno what your point is. Get over your chunibyo phase and learn to have fun again.
Power levels are on the comical side, but that’s kinda the point, you hinted at it with the chunibyo thing. It’s true, power levels on the comical side look gokuverinesque to me.
Reminds me about the people I had to beat down in Public School. When I think about it most of them are in jail now, or dead. Don’t try to be a thug kids.

laugh my ass off when Mob just flung him around like a pin ball. I honestly didn’t expect it and was actually expecting the show to stop right and the battle take place next episode.
perhaps if it was Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, that show will forever be burned into my memory as the most shittiest shonen s♥♥t ever, literally every opportunity they had was a 1-4 episode fight
Mob super move is “we don’t have time”
Serious Series: Seriously Don’t Have Time
