Another stylish pair of anime-themed megane have been made available courtesy of Yamamori Megane, this time offering potential buyers a replica of Sakamoto‘s signature frames from Sakamoto desu ga?, and possibly granting wearers a bit of his unbelievable power in the process (i.e. his dashing good looks).
Two different variations are available, a normal pair and one with a mole to make wearers further resemble the perfection that is Sakamoto (as well as potentially obscuring their vision):
The glasses can be ordered online now, with buyers also receiving a free cleaning cloth with their purchase.
I’ve seen similar looking glasses at a night market over here.
Over 130 bucks for a joke item is simply ridiculous. You can get real glasses with that kind of munny.
Mine were 300 euros, for both short and farsightness at the same time and with lifetime guarantee for both the lenses and the frame. And the frame is a Dolce & Gabbana (made in Japan) pure titanium frame, so it’s probably more than half the price itself LOL
So yeah, you can probably can find not too shabby pair around that price in some countries…
You are lucky to be able to buy glasses for only that much. lol
A decent pair is around 200-250 usd.
Most of what you’re paying is premium for the brand.
Then you’ve been shopping at the wrong place.
I got my glasses at EyeBuyDirect for thirty bucks (and that’s with special coating.) Suckers survived a car crash.
Also, no way in hell I’m dropping $130 on those. They look good on Sakamoto, and that’s about it.
If they are good quality I could see using custom lenses, but I agree 130 is a bit pricey, not factoring in the price for the lenses. In the end otakus have spent more money on such trivial things. Just a thought.
so this glasses will make me cooru coora cooresto?
Anyone know if it’s possible to pop out the lens, go to an optometrist or whatever and eventually get them with subscription?
You can, but ya really gonna pay 14.000 yen for those? pls…
Dude, that frame is worth less than $5. You can get similar ones at every supermarket.
moles aside, i actually dig his glasses. particularly the half-frame one.
