A heart-warming tribute has been unveiled in remembrance of former Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, highlighting his various achievements and efforts with a calm and gentle style that should surely touch even those (somehow) unfamiliar with the accomplished developer.
The moving tribute shown at the conclusion of the Game Developers Choice Awards:
Such tributes that have surfaced even a year after Iwata’s death demonstrates the impact he had on gamers and Nintendo fans, and will likely continue to have for years to come.
Nice, but I would say Iwata-san deserved more frames than this.
ソニー信者もソニー社員もみんな死ね
Damn, he died way too early.
At least he had a good life.
I wonder if Kojima will get this much love and respect after he passes out… I mean yes, he has accomplished less business-wise, but he is still quite the gaming figure.
Probably not. Kojima did accomplish great things and will probably keep doing so, but he didn’t contribute to the gaming industry the way Iwada helped shape it.
What exactly did he accomplish? Aside from making Metal Gear a confusing mess. The ending dismissed almost everything Big Boss did, as it wasnt even him.
He’s also rather notorious for trolling his fans, which might earn him artistic cred but has made him a controversial figure. There’s no such love-hate dynamic for Iwata.
f♥♥k this guy.
首つって死ねやクソ野郎
don’t worry iwata, your nintendo s♥♥t will soon follow you six feet under the ground.
So edgy.
yeah if they keep punishing people for playing their games on youtube and twitch. they are just a bunch of ancient draconian assholes at this point.
still, f♥♥k this guy.
Puriizu andaasutando.
^ Ladies and gentlemen, the very bottom of the barrel of internet commenters.
Stop responding to the moron and just let people down-vote he/she/it to the bottom so no one will have to be bothered by his asinine comments.
The “bottom”..? I thought attention-seeking 12-year old troll wannabes were the staple of internet commenters..? No need to go deep for those, just click any random YouTube video with enough views and bam, just watch the comments.
