FuRyu have revealed the first fascinating PV for Caligula, a game revolving around the exploits of school students stuck in a virtual reality generated school that reverts every 3 years, which has already caused numerous critics to immediately draw comparisons to the similar Sword Art Online (although it might be more correct to consider it the nightmare spawn of .hack and Persona).
The brief PV, revealing the title to perhaps be some form of action RPG:
Caligula and its VR mysteries will descend unto the Vita on June 23rd.
First look without looking at the title i immediately though oh a new persona game. Then I read the title and become confused. Then I read the content and went wtf?
This game has a severe lack of porn intercut with acting. I’m guessing this isn’t an adaptation of the classic film. 😉
Yeah, that looks a hell of a lot like Persona…
But if it has decent gameplay and cute girls, I’m interested. Ain’t gonna lie — that’s all it takes for me to be interested in a game.
Moero Chronicle: Standard dungeon crawler RPG, recruit tons of cute monster girls for your party, grind for panties. Guess who bought it!
People think that this looks like Sword Art Online? This looks more like Persona 3.
The games title refers to a Roman emperor known for his deviant behavior. There was a movie starring Malcolm McDowell that was made about him.
That movie was pretty crazy. Had some really good production value but the history of it is as messy as Caligula himself.
I’ve seen the movie myself. It’s one of those WTF movies that’s got to be seen to be believed.
