Nara City is playing host to some unlikely “ninjutsu training courses”, which seek to hone the ninpou skills of attendees and likely causing the most die-hard of Naruto fans to spill their shurikens in glee.
The academy offers training in a wide variety of combat skills such as archery, shuriken-tossing, swordplay, and the use of blowguns, the art of stealth apparently not being a great priority.
Attendees are free to bring their own equipment (most of which would be illegal it seems) or can borrow gear on-site, even allowing those who complete their training to brandish “ninja licenses” to show off to their friends.
Not unlike an actual college or university, students can even expect to find themselves deeply indebted, with the lessons costing about ¥2000 ($16) daily – more information can be found at the academy’s official website.
Sorry, no ninja’s in Japanese history at all. At least not in the way people envision them, not in any shape or form. There were no schools for ‘ninjutsu’. The highly mystified “ninja” were mostly ronin killing someone with a price on their heads or pissed off peasants disposing of their local daimyo.
Of course there is no Hokage ninja in history because they are mere legend unlike the Kouga and Iga ryuu (style) check out this Wiki page >

Uhhhh…I thought, historically-speaking, ninjas were just farmers in rural villages who got tired of getting caught up in territorial battles between feudal lords, so they decided to create improvised weapons from the farming tools they had on hand and eventually refined martial techniques for using them.
So, be a ninja! With a loudmouth, spiky yellow hair, orange jumpsuit, and about as subtle as Goku!
How the hell is he a ninja!?
Always need a distraction so the others can sneak.
Maybe the other villages are colorblind, and it’s like a hunter wearing blaze orange?
Ninja Licenses huh….I saw this once in an episode of Gintama
For those who don’t know. Ninjutsu is actually a real martial art technique. Yes, this is not science fiction and not fantasy genre. You can google or open youtube… if you don’t believe, and don’t forget open National Geographic : Fight Science…
Yeah, but just not as “stylish” as those depicted in manga or anime, take away things associated with Chakra and there, we have it. 🙂
