actually they'll explode first on its dock before being launch,you have to know their predicaments.
actually as the USS Iowa showed when suffering an accidental powder detonation back in 1991, WWII battleships are FAR more durable and resistant to damage than modern warships, which don't have foot-thick steel plate armour. Your limp Chinese missile would be lucky to even scratch the paint.
A US Navy study estimated it would take 20-25 Harpoon missile strikes to put a battleship out of combat action, and even then the ship would still be repairable.
They don't build ships the way they used to.
