It should be no surprise that 2ch voted for C3 - it gets right to the point and shows the girl's panties before showing the girl's face.
But you have to admit, it's damn well animated panties.
I still feel that many other intro's are much better, and a lot of these are new anime. Personally I think that some of the FMA intros for example I find to be much better. However i haven't several of these as well, so these are just my thoughts for the few i have seen from this list
Oh my god!!! Where's Mousou Senshi Miyamae Kanako (Maria + Holic Alive Op) in this list, it's far the best OP in 2011 (or the most hilarious XD)

If it was an all-time list, I'd naysay any list without the ToS op.
What bothers me so much about these videos is that a lot of the songs (for instance the Kami dolls one), even if they're kind of new and refreshing, aren't used to their full potential. It's the same old boring shit. Showing some characters standing around, or running around, or something stupid.
For instance, the C3 opening is basically...
Fanservice->People Running to the right -> Single shots -> Fanservice (iirc, I only bothered to watch it once).
These people just make really terrible use of the songs. It's like they've got a few formulas for anime openings and they do nothing but follow those (kinda like some harem shows and whatnot). It's very disappointing.

Exactly, only reason I saw the show was BECAUSE of the great opening... how I regretted that... should've stopped right after the song finished but I gave it 5 episodes and then dropped it.
On another note, #8 Kamisama Dolls should've been higher. Song wasn't like anything I've ever heard before in an anime OP or ED, it deserves much more praise than that and it badly needs a second season. Good Stuff in that show.

Man, another loli heroine? Don't get me wrong, lolis are nice, but something has to be said for moderation. It feels like for the past several years I've seen either lolis or tsunderes, if not both in one package. As for the protagonists, I swear they all, look, the same. They can only be differentiated by how badly they need a haircut.
Mouretsu Uchuu Kaizoku it looks pretty good, but the OP kinda sucks - however the ED is pretty good.
I don't like the bridge set ups though - its so much like Last Exile, that its getting to be cliche'.

C3 looks pretty, but surely it didn't deserve 1st place.
I personally didn't like C3's opening... It felt tedious with a good chunk being re-used animation.

you mean episodes 1-12 bring it down, it gets good around episode 13 since a *cough* main character dies, but it's starting to wander back into shit bit by bit since they're attempting to "revive" said dead character...
it's bad plot ideas like these that kill shows. I really hope it doesn't go down the shit... I was starting to like it once it picked up REAL well at episode 13.
For the hell of it, just to show how bad 1-12 were... you CAN, yes... CAN start wacthing the show around episode 13... it almost 100% feels like episode 13 onward was tailor made to be a stand along product... the plot dump wraps up real nice to get a "story" going in a way that allows a good narrative without any knowledge of 1-12.
A guy dies, some peeps are sad, others don't care. Bam, begin episode 13, I kid you not it's EXACTLY like that XD

Agreed for once. The C3 openings really are nice - and the entire show is a visual treat. Too bad the plot is generic, the characters don't really develop and the whole thing was boring as hell.
It's usually always like that. The openings/endings of any anime tend to be the best thing about it in terms of quality and animation.

neh, the 2nd and 3rd k-on openings were mediocre, if not almost edging towards annoying. The ending songs were more pleasant.

Nearly all anime fit that description, so I don't understand why it's suddenly such a bad thing when one at least does it with style.
