Brave 10 has been hailed as the season’s “dark horse” – expectations were that it would be a classic fujoshi anime, but instead it has turned out to be very nearly an kinbaku-laced oppai anime, and a rather well received one at that…
Expectations from the manga are for considerably increased levels of service, which will presumably manifest in future episodes.

So this is Hakuouki with more fan service from the main female character?
sounds about right.
I've read the manga, there's a busty blonde hair chick called Anastasia that gets nude quite often in the manga. But I highly doubt that those parts will get animated, since it looks like they're catering more to the fujoshi demographic then to the males. They'll probably be a few cleavage shots at best, no nipples.
Or maybe she has the same assistant. Well I love that artstyle with nudity.
Wow I just took a look at the manga. It looks a lot like Oh!Great's art style. She must've been an assistant of his.
i think i read the anirm will have an original story, not the same one as the manga? kinda like what happened with ga-rei and ga-rei zero, wasnt it like that?
also, i didnt know oh!great wa s a woman XD but i guess it makes sense, i just kinda assumed it was a man because of the way she draws herself/her avatar in those "what the author does-omake-thingies" at the end of the tankobons at times..
What chapter of the manga is Anastasia seen nude?
i have to say, the op for the show is pretty terrible.
So far so good. Looking forward for the next episode.
looks like the japanese idea of foreplay.
Boobs notwithstanding, I liked this one. I normally don't even like the kung-fo type period crap. This has a good plot so far.
LOL it's not kung-fo, besides kung-fo is chinese..
plus kung-fu is actually an artificial word made by hollywood... its not even the actual name for chinese martial arts...
I prefer the numerous female versions of Sanada Yukimaru in anime
And I wanted to watch this. Guess it's the same shit as High School of the Dead, etc.
Go fuck yourself, the reason high school of the dead was popular is because of the boobs, got a problem with that you gay prick?
High school of the dead was a fun series. Those two show are completely different. Are you really that ignorant.
Tessa? Is that you?
ha yes! i was thinking the whole time that the character design looks just like fullmetal panic.
I concur
Why someone who read the 8 volume manga of Brave 10/Sanada's 10 Braves would expect this to be a fujoshi anime is beyond me.
The manga was entertainingly ecchi, and the anime feels lesser to me. Isanami was prettier and more moe in the manga.
Saizou was shown as being too rude in this anime's first episode :(
What the fuck is a fujoshi anime? there is no such thing as "fujoshi anime", considering the otaku culture gives little to no attention to female otakus in general, let alone those sick fujoshi's.
anime's animator =/= manga person..
Despite it masquerading as a seinen, it still contains many josei/yaoi undertones. It's pretty damn noticeable if you're not distracted by overt fanservice while reading.
Besides its pretty shounen/shoujo hybrid art, it's not all that great. Just a bunch of meh plot/action/character-wise.
fujoshi is a phreak it always good to take very caution or avoid about "material" that intended to you... like this anime perhaps. not i hate it just not my taste
But the real question is will the characters dump the concept of friendship and kill each other to their hearts content? Because that would be fun to watch for a change.
Basilisk is a good example for this. Just, y'know, with less ninja hating each other and more normal kids. Higurashi (season 1) is probably a better example. Or Shiki. God I loved that massacre.
hm shiki was, in te end, more about understanding vampires and hwo humans are the real monsters, hm?
