Oniichan no Koto’s 10th episode is being accorded legendary status for the quality of its earthquake warning synchronicity amidst waves of discontent at the now almost omnipresent tsunami map.
In other news Tokyo stations are cancelling anime broadcasts in droves in favour of running endlessly redundant earthquake news, a response which is either a blessing (they will be spared further warnings) or a curse (they will have to put up with no anime and gloating from Kansai) to anime fans.
I’m wondering if foreign otaku mass-preordering this episode would be a good display of support for japans current situation? (supporting the Japanese economy…)
Well, lucky this anime was shown–anybody still remember Full Metal Panic being postponed its debut because of 9/11?
The gods must be laughing their asses off.
typo: too god-like*
Wait did this air during the earthquake or before? Some how this is too god to be coincidence. Are the producers of this show espers?!?
