Miwa Shirow is a noted mangaka and illustrator, having attained notoriety both for illustrating a series of hit Miku MADs and albums, and for his “Dogs: Bullets & Carnage” manga.
He is mainly known for illustrating the covers and MAD imagery of Supercell hits such as “Koi wa Sensou”, in collaboration with Ryo, and for his manga “Dogs: Bullets & Carnage,” published in Ultra Jump.
“Love is War”:
Koi wa Sensou has itself spawned a huge variety of highly artistic military themed imagery – these can be seen here.
Miwa Shirow’s published works, aside from his manga, are most readily obtained with the albums he illustrates or the various doujin artbooks he has published at Comiket. His circle is circle m.m.m. works.
As usual, you can follow him through the Channel, his Pixiv profile or his website.
Why is this being posted so late in? his work should’ve been showcase way earlier.
His MuZz work is severely underrated.
Isn’t he the one who is hated for mocking another random artist’s manga without their permission?
ttgl ftw
Dogs is a fantastic seinen manga. I didn’t realize Mr. Shirow did so much Vocaloid artwork, though! It’s definitely in the same vein as his other work, so it would seem he’s developed his own distinctive style.
Shirow Miwa is my God.
