Comedy fat man and leftist documentary maker Michael Moore has paid a visit to Akihabara, with the town leaving a distinctly unfavourable impression on him it seems.
Above he dispenses the first of his sage observations: “A lot of unnecessary things are being sold here.”
“Shopping may brighten the spirits, but they’re just fooling themselves.”
In response to “Okaerinasaimase, goshujin-sama!” at a maid cafe:
“I’m not your master! Everybody’s equal.”
With cheery insights such as these, some fear another documentary may be in the offing…
“These people buy too many unnecessary things.”
“Oh look they have a McDonald’s here!”
wtf…?
heh even re-reading this makes me think “I’ve seen the choice quotes, now let me read the whole thing”
At least he finally found a place where his frumpy way of dress fits in…
sure, is full of unnecesary things, is a pervert’s and and an otaku’s wonderland.
sex is unnecesary too, you know?
and yet we all are a little happier because of it
