Bikini idol Aya Hirano and mangaka cosplay idol Shoko-tan have both been selected for a “Beautiful Lady Catalogue” which aims to “list completely belles representative of Japanese beauty.”
The ranking appears in TV rag “BLT,” with much of the rest of the ranking being taken up by drama actresses, idols and so on:

Wikipedia actually now has an entire article devoted to “Shoko-tan go,” the 2ch/Vipper influenced dialect she alone speaks, evidently a topic of no small import, judging by the length of the article and level of lexical detail.
Aya Hirano, by now well known for her battle with obesity, shows her superb fashion sense and photogenic nature:
