>>Bitch please. Contracting GDP and ping pong growth IS recession.

Japan GDP, year per year from 1992 to 2011:

0.8 0.2 0.9 1.9 2.6
1.6 -2.0 -0.2 2.3 0.4
0.3 1.7 2.4 1.3 1.7
2.2 -1.0 -5.5 4.4 -0.7

Adjusted. And no, recession is when the little number is negative. I’m an european, so trust me: a +1 does make the difference already for people.

>>Who said it was ‘last resort’ for US to tap the shale oil.

You: Best example of this is how US handled the shale oil/gas tech until now when oil reserve trend in the middle east is generally in a downward spiral.

Or at least I took it that way: I thought you meant that tech was avaible earlier, but they waited for shit to be ready to happen (reserves fucked up).
I think the simple truth

Solar, water and wind are too dependent on randomness of weather (for storage, giant batteries and inverters are far more expensive than nuclear) and also produce less kilowatts than thermal plants.

Within 1 month the incident happened there were already rumors about human factors. I doubted it at first as there were not much proof. But records of discussions reviewed that humans did contributed to the worsening of situation.

A country is huge. Green energy can be used at various spots to reduce the demand. It’s the general trend and is especially important in areas having high earthquake risk. Even the US is moving towards it. The goal is not to eliminate whatever type of energy but to choose the best within a defined area, not only considering the cost.

@21:54 The point is that it used to be much better than it is nowadays. As for the culture. If you’ve been there and not just stayed in Tokyo, you’re bound to get a fairly good grasp of that but it’s a receding culture in all fairness. Same for the landscape etc. A huge chunk of said landscape isn’t even safe to travel in any more. Cue Fukushima.

  • Kirino Kousaka One-Piece Dress Figure:
For some reasons i was looking at this figure to try to figure out how she is wearing a One Piece dress. She didn’t have the hat, or the pirate insignia or anything. I am disappoint.

Let’s have a retrospective on rotoscoping and how much Americans liked it… Scanner Darkly… fail Crappy Lord of the Rings attempt in the 80s… fail One scene in Heavy Metal that looks like sh**… fail and this crap (and scanner darkly) aren’t even rotoscoping. It’s just a damned filter program.
