Comment on Teacher Awarded $225,000 for Stealing $10 by Anonymous:

Hold on, hold on here! TFA says “caught red-handed stealing”, but also says, “charges were eventually dropped”.

Presuming lack of corruption and lack of bribery, fi the charges were dropped, then teach is legally “not guilty” (of that specific instance).

The school board not only fired him, but wrongly interfered with his future employability by stripping him of his teaching certificate, which they reasonably should not be able to take from him as long as he passed the tests one takes to get it.

Damn right he should have sued the board, and damn right he should have won the suit.
