They've really packed a lot of Plot into these specials.
Speaking of plot, the plot of the whole show pissed me off to no end. It had to be one of the most retarded things ever. Why were those girls so pissed off about insubordination DURING a fucking full scale military-end-of-the-world-if-they-fail-attack?
And what was the deal with the president? They made her out to be secretly so super strong, but then there was nothing else built upon that. Just thinking about it is making me rage.
I don't recall a health check up in the manga.

One of the series last season...or the season before, that i didn't finish. I dunno if it was the fact that the main character was a fumbling wuss or that the 'main' love interest was too much of a passive aggressive bitch.
Maybe if the main guy wasn't so much of a pansy or that maybe the 'love interest' wasn't a one dimensional kuudere (Maybe that tribal girl). Then maybe it would have held a bigger audience.

Glad I stopped reading and didn't go beyond the first episode of the anime. Art is good but the story and characters...bleh. Just another attempt to cash in on lonely otakus bank accounts.
