this cosplay how ever is quite unconvincing in a way...maybe her uniform is too crumpled or shes just too focused on being the character..just my opinion..

The hair wasn't that good. But compared to the others that i've seen, this appears to be the best.

Nagato's hair is what makes the cosplay not work.

She makes a very lovely Yuki indeed.

Meh, I like it in a nerdy chick way, but that naruto cosplay in the background makes me want to scream fail.

Hmm... Not quite cute enough. Like the eyes, though. As for the composition? Adequate, but (aside from the understandable toungish allusions to the cover of the 8th novel [http://www.amazon.co.jp/涼宮ハルヒの憤慨-角川スニーカー文庫-谷川-流/dp/4044292086/ref=sr_11_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1241069284&sr=11-1], the poses are mostly out of character. Although I guess it would be pretty boring to have all the pictures be of her quietly sitting off to the side reading a book...

I don't think Nagato Yuki (2-D or this 3-D) is noteworthy-cute.

I thought her character (serious, quiet-voiced) was amusing in the anime, though.

I don't know what it is about the contrast between youthful appearance and disheveled "I've been there and back again" hair & color, but this is the one salient feature I've been weak against as far back as I can remember.

That said, given a few properly spaced-apart treatments from a Frequency Doubled Q-switched Nd:YAG laser and she could take care of those spots on her face.

They're only 1500 on eBay...

...that is an otherworldly Nagato Yuki. Maybe not wholly accurate, but beautiful all the same. Very much approved.

Want. That's all there is to say. Ahhhh I'm so ronery.

Two simple rules would help the common problem, present in the above, of cosplay outfits looking cheap, or unbelievable.

1. All cosplay outfits are to be made of a material equal to, or superior in quality when compared to the average real life equivalents. Basically if you are making a custom school girl uniform use the same weight, or better, of materials then used in a real one.

2. All cosplay outfits are to be washed and dried at least three times before worn. This will help avoid the weird crinkly "I just made/bought this and will only wear it once" effect. If said outfit can't survive a wash cycle it wasn't good enough anyway. Granted this mainly applied to clothing that is more conventional in nature.
